On 15th May we’re taking part in Australia's most stunning Marathon - The Great Ocean Road Marathon!

Anyone who knows us well, will know that we love a physical challenge. But that’s not the only reason we’re attempting our first marathon. This time we’ve decided to make a real difference by raising as much money as possible for the Lyme Disease Association of Australia. All out of admiration, respect and love for our dear friend Kate, who is currently going through an intensive and physically draining treatment program for Lyme Disease after 10 years enduring symptoms and mis-diagnosis. We've watched her go through so much that it's time for us to endure some pain ourselves to raise much needed money and awareness for Lyme Disease!

Lyme Disease is an infection caused by bacteria transmitted when a person is bitten by a tick. Sadly, it can impact most bodily systems and organs, leading to a very long list of symptoms. From hair loss, to seizures, to depression, to impaired vision – we think it’s fair to say that you wouldn’t even wish it on your worst enemy. But thankfully, organisations like LDAA exist, and your donation will help them to raise much-needed awareness of the condition and provide appropriate treatment for all Australians suffering from Lyme Disease. Kate has had to travel to the USA to receive the treatment she needs, so please help us to raise money and awareness in Australia so others can be treated for this disease in their own country.
